I was promoted to JL4(Test analyst) after I worked for 2.7 year in infosys. After how much time I am excepted to be promoted to JL 5? I am getting commendable rating for every year end evaluation.

Can I become JL4(test analyst ) too... without being on project? I have become SSE after 2.3 years... currently I am having 2.5 YOE in Infosys.

Without working in project... Not a chance. There are many people working in projects / multiple projects and for more than 9-10 hours a day. They will be given preferance. You need to work hard and prove yourself.
