Trending @Infosys; “JL4 to JL5 — Interviewed Twice Already, What Hike to Expect?”
Hi everyone, I recently gave two rounds of interviews – one with Infosys and one with the client – and might still have to give a manager round. Honestly, I’ve already been grilled twice 😅. From what I understand, the role might be for a JL5 position. I’m currently JL4 with a package of ₹12L fixed + ₹1.5L variable.
If I do get selected, will this come with an official promotion in designation and pay? Also, what kind of hike percentage can I realistically expect in such cases? Would love to hear from anyone who has been through a similar transition.

lol !! These is usual process for most infoScion’s to get a project !! As client don’t believe infy. They just consider us as a staffing agency!! So themselves want to take interview of infy employees . The role you play in client n/w has very little to do with infosys designation
Who said you will be promoted to JL5? In JL4 you have to complete at least 1.5-2 yrs. No promotion or hike would be there. It's common across many projects. Infy assigns lesser JL to higher JL roles to get more savings on margins.
