Trending @Infosys; JL3 to JL4 promotion
Hi guys. I've got a promotion from JL 3 to JL 4. They increased like 2000rs in my fixed salary. And the performance bonus is around 5K. Can anybody please explain what this performance bonus is? Will I get it or not? I'm confused
How did you got the promotion.. have you asked your manager or directly you got.. i am also jl3 and it's 3 years in Infosys now when can i expect the promotion
No,I just got a mail stating promotion. One thing is I'm in project from the day I joined. It's been nearly 2 years.

The performance bonus will depend on the rating you get. This year, we got OS got 95% of total, Commendable got 80%, and then 75%, then 68% or close to it. i am not completely sure about the percentage but it will be dependable upon the rating you will get.
One query- If a person has 5K as PB, will he get some percent of PB (5k) quarterly or will he /she receive 5k in 4 parts i.e quarters ( 5k/4 = 1250₹. Some % of 1250₹ quarterly?) Can someone pls confirm
Some percent of 5k, minimum 50% one should get. Rest is variable. Performance bonus is nothing but Variable pay.
It's quarterly between 70 to 100%
