Java Developer vs SAP ABAP Developer

Hello Everyone,

I am seeking advice from experienced professionals in the IT industry. As a fresher, I have recently joined TCS as a Ninja Candidate. My skills include Java, DSA, frontend development with React, SQL, and Spring Boot (still learning).

However, I've been allocated to an SAP project by RMG without my input, and I have no prior experience with SAP ABAP. This unexpected assignment has left me quite confused.

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on whether pursuing a career in SAP is a good option. Alternatively, should I consider switching companies after a year to continue focusing on my Java skills? Thank you in advance for your valuable advice. I am feeling quite uncertain about my career direction at the moment.
