Instagram: Share any random pictures, with people who don't really care about you. People go on trips for the sake of Insta. People go to good looking places that give shit food, for the sake of Insta. People taking dips in swimming pools to get a pool shot, not even soaking in the feeling of being in water
LinkedIn: I asked my manager if I can come in later, they said don't worry... #leadership. Randomly leaking screenshots of chats with friends, coworkers, bosses, for the sake of likes. Appreciation from professionals who aren't remotely related to you. Ex Google Ex Uber Ex Laura Liaison.
I think the world goes towards a darker place. It sometimes makes no sense to me. I cannot be alone in this. Be better. Be your own man or woman.

For me I have my friends who believed the same way. We just never cared about social existence (social validation) .I haven't even updated my profile photo from 6 years(may be more I don't even remember)xd

Kyuki unko fark nhi padta log kya kahenge aur hum second hand stress lete hain unke behalf pe ki dekho fir se linkedin pe faltu ki post daal di chaman chupiye ne abhi logo se galiyan khayega log cringe bolenge. Not everything but mostly,I have few friends here who plan trips monthly and go along.They don't enjoy the views for couple of minutes and if they take a selfie/photo with a pose : DONE! They leave that place within a second and a post is mandatory after coming back to home.
Here's what you need to do. Travel solo on mountains. Trek towards the summit, sit for a while. Awaken your Tyler durden within. That's it.

I agree. This is a different kinda peer pressure. I don't know how people manage to have this dual lifestyle, the online and Irl. It can get really overwhelming at times..
