It's Done, TCS started laying off bench employees and in some cases paying 3 month gross salary.

TCS started laying off its employees by asking to self resign if they resign and will be awarded with a 3 month gross salary and if not they are putting pressure on them and also put bad remarks in the release letter.

Also Senior management employees are also in target. They want to improve PROFIT and operation margin as well.

There are no more project in the pipeline so they are taking this step.

I was forced to put my resignation even though i had given my level best to get an allocation.

They won't even listen to you and give you only 2 choices:

  1. Either self resign
  2. They will terminate with bad reviews.

Who told you there are no more projects in pipeline? Do you think TCS is a startup. Atleast I personally know minimum 3 to 4 new accounts finalized in my horizontal.

Oh wow, congratulations! You personally know three to four whole new accounts? That must mean TCS is absolutely thriving—just like how finding a single grain of rice means the famine is over!*

But sure, let’s ignore the hundreds getting benched and booted while you proudly wave your "I know a guy who knows a project" flag. TCS isn’t a startup—you’re right. Startups at least pretend to care about employees. TCS? Oh no, it’s a *masterclass in squeezing people dry before tossing them aside like used napkins.

Those "finalized accounts" you’re bragging about? Let me guess—they’ll magically turn into "resource optimization opportunities" the second bench numbers tick up again. But hey, keep polishing that corporate Kool-Aid—someone’s gotta lick the spoon clean after management’s done stirring the nonsense!"

Writing bad comments is again unethical. Nowadays TCS hr's are behaving like loan recovery agents, as I see many posts here regarding. 35 days is as per new initiative but better to reduce NP to 40 days. FNF Settlement will be given by employees. First restructure the entire RMG team. If they are still supported TCS will be easily forgotten in coming days.

I agree on restructuring RMG team, if they are proactive enough, employees on bench ration would have been reduced. It’s tough for skilled associates as well to get the project as they have to do all the struggle alone in posting the profiles on all the portals, reaching out to associates , improving their networking etc.

They are forcing g because if they terminate they need to pay notice as well as extra compensation for each year of service.

Also by law they cannot put bad comments anyway. Just we are not aware about law.

Put the query in GPT and it will give all money calculation you deserve on termination

There are new projects in the pipeline. To capitalise the deals signed it is taking time. As a company tcs is not taking risks to take them in & make them non-billable. Debt free company if we see the figures of the company. But management is over cautious every time.

They have projects but aren’t long term is what I know and that’s from last year. People are getting released but those who have been warming the bench for longer period not exactly 35 days.
