It's about not looking up while walking

Disclaimer: This post is not gonna add much value into your life. So read at your own wish :)

Many a times when I walk on the street or road, I don't feel like keeping my head up whenever a lady or a girl is passing by or coming saamne se, I naturally begin to look down at the ground until they pass by.

I have observed it's not the case with many boys or men. Sometimes I think why do I do so?

  1. I think it will be awkward for them if somebody will look at them like this.

  2. But sometimes I end up being compelled because I love the colour combination of their attire.. so that's to capture into my memory obv in a no non-sense manner :)

  3. Now, third.. even though I know it's not good but still some part of my brain tells me to look... may be because of some law of attraction.. but this thing cause a bit of guilt that still I should not.. I don't why..

So over a period of time.. I have tried to avoid looking up whenever my 3rd reason tells me to do so.. and now it began to feel easy and easier than before to avoid looking up.

I don't if this is normal or not on my part.. because it's the Adulting space so I felt like sharing here..

It's normal for me as well. Nothing weird in that and I have female friends as well if this gives context that it's not the case only with guys who don't have female interaction.

Eye contact is a very basic way of acknowledging another human. To ignore them is to do them and yourself a disservice.

Footpaths aren't even half as interesting as a fellow human being.

Only for 3rd point and that too when a lady passby closely..not for any other thing whether living or non-living. but still looking at the footpath doesn't mean our brain is just processing footpath at the point... atleast in my case... So footpaths are not interesting to be true..but some thoughts are...

But yeah you are right... it's because since childhood I haven't interacted with girls much..so it creates a bit of anxiety also..

Umm..Disservice a bit.. not much..

May be I will get better with time in articulating the message to be conveyed effectively..
