ITR Refund Status

Did you apply for outrageous amount of refund? All who filed for very high amount compared to salary are under deep investigation. I opted for new regime and refund got within 3 days. This year they are scrutinising all ITR demanding more than 40-50k

The status of my filed ITR did not even move a step. It was e-verified on 16th Aug and it’s still the same.

No update on refunds so far. Still waiting to listen from the IT department.
