IT vs Govt job Thread
Guys are we just trying to avoid the fact that govt jobs are better than private in terms of stability and overall career?
What is your take on this, let's start a thread and analyse things based on logic.
If you're a software engineer then working for the government is stupid cos they don't pay much and growth and learning is horrible.
Also why is everyone so obsessed with stability? What does that even mean. We Indians are so scared to take calculated risks and aim high. If you're a faang tier experienced engineer you're going to keep switching companies every few years anyway, who cares about stability.
Being stuck in the same dusty government office for 40 years seems like a death sentence to me.
