IT Union Challenges TCS layoffs, Calls for Government Intervention
The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), a union representing IT workers in India, has raised serious concerns over the recent announcement of mass layoffs by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the largest IT services companies in the world. NITES has taken a strong stance against these layoffs, describing them as "unethical, inhumane, and outright illegal." The union has formally appealed to Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, urging immediate government intervention to stop the terminations and reinstate the affected employees.
Why doesn't TCS let go of the army of HRs it has kept, who are basically useless since nothing gets done systematically anyways!
The current Government wants money from corporate and corporate wants profit. So they are kind of "Thief Thief cousins"..don't expect anything from them.
nothing will happen , considering head cout of TCS 12k is not much.
With this layoff pressure no one is expecting an annual hike and demanding for it to safeguard their family or loved ones with the current situation. This might be another strategy from management to reduce the cost.
Its completely useless eyewash thik you can not ask thief to steal making aware the Master of the house.
Supreme court is the actual body who can work according to the constitution that can't be averted. Rest are all bogus eating bush to suppress to cold storage later.
