How to be a product manager?
I m currently working in TCS (ninja profile) with 5 months experience. My goal is to become product manager in future. Can someone guide what to do? Is it necessary to do MBA for that or is there any other way?
My background - BTech Computers, 13+ yrs @ TCS. Have experience as Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager.
Aspirations - Join established start-up / mid-size firms as Product / Program Manager.
What kind of skills / preparation etc. will it take to be there?
To get into pm roles, or business analysts role at startups or MNCs, you have to be quite patience and skillful enough to crack a descent job.
However, as you you are already working with TCS from 13 years with BA role, so it would be quite easy for you to make a switch. But what you can do it, you can opt for some certifictaions, nd stat engaing with communities.
Online Active Communities, is the best way to learn, and build the network.
But in this, it's nearly impossible to show your presence immeidatley on LinkedIn in starting phase.
So, you can be the part of our online group, where we share the job updates, industry insights, and various resources to upskill yourself and, everything will be of free. So, join with the below link:
