IT service companies are basically glorified Govt companies. Same old Babudom, red tapism, terribly bad work culture, no innovation.

At least Govt companies have job security and some work to life balance. Here you slog 12-14 hrs per day and you can be thrown out too. The HR is worst in all these companies, utterly incompetent, rude. I actually found Sarkari officers to be faster than them.

It's okay if you get into a good project there, else you will be on bench, twiddling your thumbs. If you are in one of those service companies try moving out ASAP.
