It’s the loneliness that kills you

Was catching up with a college friend yesterday, he's also a founder and we were reflecting upon what the most difficult part of the journey has been - especially since both of us are solo founders.

If I had to pick ONE thing - it's the loneliness. It’s the loneliness that kills you.

  • Your friends don’t get it
  • Your family thinks it’s a hobby, they might not say it but definitely feel it
  • And some days, you doubt yourself too
  • No one to share it with, ofcourse the team is there but for them the stakes aren't as high

Keep going. The best things take time :)

I've been thinking of starting a founder's only community, but so many have failed at it too. Hard to keep it active and engaging unless enough members participate frequently enough. And founders are mostly too busy for such things. They only post when they need xyz things. Very less discussion unless related to work or something they need for work.
