It is depressing
I thought it'd be fun to have some linkedin like professionals only app but coming over here made me realise how depressing my life is. People here are 99% into development or similar IT fields making average of 2-5 LPM atleast. I understand the seniors or experienced folks but even the freshers are landing much higher salaries than I as an experienced professional for over 4 years have. I understand I'm not into the IT field and it's obvious that these developers deserve what they are earning, I've no hate hate against them it's just that I feel demotivated knowing if I had made some good choice into the career planning, i wouldn't have to live by paycheck to paycheck.
Never too late for a fresh start. Dev with recruiter experience would be a good fit for startups as they prefer people who can do multiple things
Recruitment is sales.
Switch to SaaS sales and out earn the script kiddies 3:1 every year 😅
I've tried switching man, but only jobs I'm getting is the similar recruitment ones, I'm done with recruiting and I'm also on the verge of being terminated as well, idk what to do anymore
Keep at it.
Suggest you target HR SaaS firms, relatively easier acceptability because you have some domain experience. Could be HRMS, Recruitment, Comp/Ben, etc. Plenty of choices there.
