Issue with UPI transfer

Hi guys,

I sent some 5k to one of my friends and Amt didn’t credit to them and it did not revert back to my account as well. I have discussed this so many times with my bank (HDFC) and they are asking me to enquire with my friend bank (Axis), can someone help me out here I need my 5k back and it’s been months I am not getting a resolution.
