Trending @Accenture; Isn't this unprofessional ?

'People lead' says that her queue is already filled for the upcoming promotion cycle. So I have asked for any hike in mid-year She keeps saying the same thing that there is no update from the leadership or management.

I pinged my HR partner and HR partner lead to know the use of the feedback / self input / self reflection on workday to know like who reviews the priorities and what is the purpose of it. They did not reply to my message.

This is sure that there is promotion and limited hike during the mid - year cycle but who will decide about whome is still not disclosed or they are just doing it intentionally?

What should be done in this case ?

Any suggestions?

I know findling a job outside is another option or getting moved out of my current project is also an option but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh they won't provide any details ,your hike will happen only if the project increase their budget. Priorities and certificates are useless in Accenture and used just to place you in project which do not have required resources. Accenture mainly practice this mal practice to keep wages hike limited to senior or old employees only. HR or any other leadership won't have any response. They will switch you in project exactly before the cycle so they don't have to pay you variable or hikes regularly.

Exactly same happens in my project every cycle...whoever is eligible for next promotion....they will roll off them

All Service org are a shame for this country. Although being main exporter the law and the org doesn't care about their own resources and rather prefer profitability over employee centric approaches.

Don't expect anything if the project is not increasing their budget. People lead are not your friend by tactical Accenture HR who manage resources in projects and bill client

The usual process that all the supervisor will have an meetings. The supervisor will discuss and each supervisor will fight for people reporting to them. Then points will be given and the people will be ranked. Let's out of 100 the top 50 rank would be selected, that this go to another round of discussions. Like this I guess 2 -3 round of discussions happen and final only 20 people remain. And finally only 10 spots might be available for promotion or appraisal and 5 boys 5 girls would be selected. If it is an odd number like 11 6 girls and 6 boys. These discussion will happen for each career level. This is the ideal process. God knows what's happening now

Theoretically Accenture promotes itself as a employee centric org but practically a shitty org who has no structure or accountability for anything. You will die requesting people to connect and they will ghost you once they realise they have no idea on it

People leads are nothing but resources managing HR who either bill customer or get new resource on board. My own people lead backstabbed me when the project moved out from Accenture to TCS. Even after multiple appreciation and highlights they put me in PIP whereas I was not even working in their project from last 8-9months just to cut down variable pay and hike. In addition to that even HR Team could decide after multiple evidence presented and avoided to scheduled any Neutral panel for final decision even after multiple request.

HR is a joke in Accenture.bunch of new guys with no guts to make decisions or stand for employee rights. Could every talk properly when counter questioned.

Try cracking P4, P5 competency in your primary skill. It can’t guarantee promotion but definitely brings your name up in terms of exposure and they have to give good hike.

Harsh reality is you need to have a supportive manager,SDM and a few other leaders to back you. Who truly supports your hardwork and dedication. Then only you will be separately highlighted to your leadership people which can give you visibility thus it will give you promotion,good hike and all.
