Is wings 1 worth it ?

As per my understanding the exam comes only 2 times per year and the result takes 3 months to come and few months more for salary to come. At last the salary can go to where it was, if u get band C and below. As i recently saw a team lead harassing a employee who got digital. Saying wait for march month. Meaning he will give C band during appraisal.
