Is VodaPlay legit

So I recently got a youtube ad about VodaPlay, an app quite much like YouTube but more like Vanced (fyi yt Vanced was yt premium but free, but was sued by Google and thus closed now). The App doesn't use ads between different videos on inside it, and the best part is we can hear audio even after closing it (that's the feature I liked the most about Vanced and missed it for years, and which I found the best about this app). The way in which they do ads is through popups within inside the page rather than the video ones, which wouldn't hinder the flow of autoplaying videos.

So, what all I wanted to ask is (and which is also the title itself) IS VODAPLAY LEGIT.
