Is Two stop rule applicable for Vande Bharat Express?

I have booked a couple of tickets in vandebharat express. I will board at the booked station, but my co passenger will board at the next station. Is it allowed. I know it is allowed in other train as per two stop rule. Just wanted to check is it the same for vandebharat too.
