Is this with everyone?

It's my birthday tomorrow. But for the first time ever there's no excitement, no looking forward to it, in fact I am planning to work and maybe even go to the office. For the first time, it feels like there's nothing special about birthdays and its just a normal day. Is staying away from home and family taking away the inner child, enjoyment and excitement from us?

Unfortunately I understand what you mean.
Same thing happened on my bday. I think it’s just that our inner child doesn’t get excited for every small thing. However it doesn’t mean that inner child is away. Advance happy birthday Buddy.
