No. I've had plenty of dates where we usually decide i will pay next time. Easier to do alternate bill payments instead of splitting every time. Expense is usually 1-2k , not more than that anyways.

I can see why this can be true sometimes. Because she doesn't want the other person to think she went with him, ate at his expense and then ditched him . But this doesn't mean it's true 100% of the times
