Is this how it's going to be?

I've done everything I can in my current role at my current company. Currently working with the worst manager one can get and still thriving in my role. I feel like an outsider in my own team. Heck, I've even solved problems beyond my pay grade.

But the first moment I want to put myself and my career first and all I hear is that I'm too young to think about these things.

Is this how it's going to be?
