Is this a realistic expectation to have?
Hello People, I have been interning with a very very early stage startup(less than 10 head count), it's been WFH, I joined in my 3 year/6th Semester of B.Tech.
Recently, in March itself, my CEO called us to HYD for WFO, I don't mind this, I'm falling in love with HYD, and I initially decided to make my career working here(I'm originally from Calcutta), but yesterday they just dropped a bomb saying they're shifting complete ops to Noida in May.
I'm the least keen on shifting there, I have a PPO letter from them, just waiting to graduate, which will happen in MAY end.
I first thought that I'll just have to shift, then a random thought occurred to me that why don't I switch companies? There are soo many in HYD. I got this internship via a referral from a friend and I excelled at my Job, took ownership, met and exceeded expectations.
My problem is that I have zero confidence/experience in interviews/OA, I didn't participate in my college's campus recruitment that much.
Is there any way I can reasonably switch jobs before May? Especially since I'll just be graduating, even though I have 13 months of work experience, I will be doing nothing different from my internship when I convert to full time.
How should I prepare? Where should I apply?(For DS or software Development in python mainly). Is it okay to settle for a pay cut at a different firm? Does what I'm thinking and saying make sense?
I'm just confused. Thanks for listening to my rant, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Very difficult. Job situation is always difficult outside college for freshers. So either you get campus placement, or you keep running around facing a brutal job search process. But no harm in trying. You can always try and if it doesn’t work out, then just go with this PPO thing.
On a side note, I never understand why people go for such smaller companies. Internship is okay, but why go for full time job unless you are super-confident that it will soon turn into a great organisation
Hey, Thanks for replying. I'll keep on the hunt for jobs most likely while working for them.
To answer your side note, I probably kept on doing this because it let me keep on doing what I love (Build scalable, optimised systems), while paying me, and I've also seen the company grow, so that's that.
Thanks for the response stranger :)
