Is there career in SAP?

I recently joined DI in January after completing an internship that started in July 2024. Although I'm currently on the bench, I have substantial experience in WebApp development using MERN and Next.js. However, I've been placed as an Analyst in SAP Consulting. Should I continue in this role, or would it be better to shift to Core Engineering and Development? Additionally, will I be able to transition from SAP to another field in the future?
