Is there any working hour policy in tcs?

I've been maintaining 1-2 hours in office from last few months. Not received any mails yet.

Today I observed 2Office is updated with number of hours in office. What’s newly cooking?

You need to spend min 3-5 hours in office as of now. Possibly later on they will push for 5-7 hours. Did not hear 9 hours till date. But yes.. They will ask freshers to spend 9 hrs in office. And also it depends on projects.

9.5 hrs excluding travel time

It's for new employees, unallocated, bench and temporary business associates. If your project is chill nad u r doing your job then nobody forces you to complete 9 hours in office.

My Manager literally scolded me for spending time in office as due to that I had to travel back to home in the evening when the client meetings are scheduled and sometimes I was missing the meetings. So I guess it's not an issue as of now.

There is a working hour policy and it's highly possible it will be implemented in sync with the RTO very soon

As long as you don’t get escalation it’s alright to take long breaks
