I do not think there is any Child care exemption.You can take LWP for 1 year.

Yes you can take 6 months to 1 year WFH but you can check with your hr and use the same

There is a Policy for this in HR HUB, You can get 6 months provided your spouse is not working in tcs and she didn't applied for maternity. Go to your manager with that policy. They will give. My friends have already taken.

Kuch ni milta tcs mei,I have applied but he said that if your wife is unhealthy and she needs your support then bring medical certificate and support docs then they will take advise from tcs doctor,on their approval you may or may not get...and that too for just 1 month WFH....I cannot confirm about other projects but this happened with me last year.

I said them ki how can you say bring certificate to prove wife is unhealthy...she just got discharged ...submitted hospital bills etc...tcs hr are pathetic...no moral values ...I mean why they are called HR

Yes, please check flexible work options policy. You are bound to get atleast 4-6months of wfh provided your project approves first and then hr approval
