is there any way to stop going through choice paralysis?
i am certain most of you have gone through choice paralysis in your daily life and activities. either in choosing some songs to play while working out, doing your work, doing chores or watching some random videos on youtube or choosing that one movie for night? how do you deal with that?

Limit your options and then take a decision, the way you limit options is by knowing what exactly you want, how you know that is by documenting those very same things. Here's a simple example
- I want to buy a slip on shoes...
- Go to myntra and search for slip on shoes.
- Boom get bombarded with billions of shoes.
- Take a step back and reasses what I want
4a. I set a budget
4b. Short list good brands 4-5 top ones
4c. Set size
4d. Select color
4e. Check reviews top 3 cheapest ones. 4f. Select the best. - Buy with offers
Now I know this is a simple algo but the fundamentals are same for all choices you might have to take, limiting options based on your need and picking one and sticking to it.

i do same while purchasing something online but still goes through that, recently it's happening with me while picking courses and for tutorials to choose on youtube

“choice paralysis” didn’t knew there was a name for this…

Use the 37% rule. Think about total number of videos you expect to go through before making a choice to watch. Take approx 37% of that number and make a choice in that number and watch.

doesn't it say something like remove first 37% and then take the first one which is best? won't it come again?
