Sandwich policy means some company has sandwich leave policy

Suppose if you took leave on friday & monday sat-sun is already off. Total leave will be- 4 instead of 2. This is called sandwich policy.

Actually we get the card to eat unlimited Sandwiches free which we can use in our cts cafeteria, you need to be a top performer continuously for 2 years.
