Trending @Wipro; Is the WIlP program good or bad ?
Hi, I just want to know if the Wipro wilp program is good for students. I have been working at Wipro for the last three years, and today I received an offer from another company with a higher salary. Some of my seniors have suggested that I should not leave Wipro because they are offering me a MTECH degree. I already have a BCA degree. Please let me know if this master degree is mandatory for me in future and also please suggest could I leave sir stay in company

If you have an offer, then go for it. Staying in WILP will only waste your time. As you can see there is no growth in this. I too had the misconception that MTech degree will hold much value, but later after talking to multiple Degree holders from Wilp, I got to know that, once 5 year bond is completed and if you want they stay in Wipro, the package will be between 5-6 lpa and you have to sign an additional 1 year bond. 5 years of experience and getting paid 6 lpa max is waste of talent. I too am planning to leave the program.

As a wilp degree holder,I would suggest you to go for the other companies offer and discontinue the program.

Could you please let me know why ?

The people who left Wipro in 2nd n 3rd year of the program have switched twice by the time the course gets completed.Even if they have switched once they are getting paid more and will get a better offer on switching again. Also the companies even after completion of mtech considers the current salary for further increment in salary.

I suggest you to stay in Wipro
Make use of everything they provide.
Once you receive your degree then it's your call.

BCA people get a lot more respect in the market as compared to when we joined the workforce. That's why I had no option other than MTech. also our financial situation was not good. If you are financially ok then suggest you to go for MCA or join any company .

Wilp is total waste of time. If you have a offer, go for it.

If reassign in wipro .how many months notice period need to serve.i am on bech now .

Get your degree, it will weigh your resume later in the future.
