The question is will the demand increase in the future with the development of AI?
We already have Devin which is going to get better with time. Sooner or later we'll have something similar for UX. The profession will still be relevant but with fewer openings for the role. We'll see less jr. Designers over time. The ratio of developers to Designers is already quite small it's only going to get smaller. The wage will definitely increase though for the people who survive the AI wrath.

Why do you think user experience is a bubble?

A few years back, it was fairly common to hear folks from outside the UX field get high paying jobs in UX.
These days I hear even UX professionals find it harder to get job. Might be so because of the market conditions and the advancements in AI.
Hence, just a lower demand for it (as compared to a few years back).

UX bubble? More like a balloon that keeps inflating. Demand declining? Only if humans stop using technology. Lucrative? Depends on your definition of wealth.
