The purpose of the training period is to introduce new employees to the profession or the new job role in a company. By serving the training period, you get acquainted with your employer, workforce and your job role. Depending on the complexity of the job role, induction training or training period can take place over days, weeks or even months. During the training period, the new employees get insights into the nature of their work, utilisation of systems/software and other relevant things.
In this period, if you've been given some roles and responsibilities other than getting to know how things work in the organisation, then you can consider that as an experience of the job. However, if you are not to perform the roles and responsibilities during your training period, then you cannot add that as a work experience. Some companies also consider your training period as work experience if you can provide salary slips from previous months.
