Is the job market that bad?

I have close to 2 years of work exp at a boutique investment bank, I'm trying to make a switch and till date I haven't gotten a single call back, it's been few weeks now, just wanted to understand if this is how the process is or there's something wrong with the market rn?

Yes, first interview calls are taking a decent amount of time (2+ months for some)

The road is slightly easier after that but not too much. You could be ghosted at any stage, your offer can be rescinded, you can be lowballed AF or any other thing that prevents you from joining. Keep interviewing till your next joining date - my advice.
