Is the job market cooked up so bad?

I have been trying to get a referral from several companies for either PO/PM or a BA or atleast somewhere around Data Analyst, Analytics role, still finding it difficult to land on a interview. Is the job market too bad? Is AI gonna overturn things?

I guess most of the companies are not making profits as they used to and it seems like it is very challenging out there with lots of people around but not able to land a job if they are experienced.

Suggest some ways to upskill or apply for companies or referrals that can help to land ok interviews atleast?
