Is the DevOps field saturated in 2023?
Been looking to switch but on one opening of devops/sre/cloud engineer role there are more than 1000 applicants.
So according to all the seasoned DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineers out there, what would you suggest to stay unique in this field? Apart from constant learning obviously.

That's true, I'm also seeing this. I've 10 YOE, even for senior DevOps roles I'm seeing 500+ on 1 day old job posting.
So all companies started leetcode for DevOps too.

I really really doubt those peeps are differentiating between cloud/devops engineers and software positions

i think so too 🤦

👋🏻 Grapevine friends, I'm actively looking for a job in the above mentioned roles.
I've extensively worked on AWS Cloud & DevOps tools(kubernetes, terraform, ansible, git, github, docker, graphana, maven, bash, linux). Have single handedly delivered activities like Cost Optimisation, Deployments, Observability etc. I'm interested in OpenSource and exploring all domain.
