Trending @Cognizant; Is the criteria for Senior consultant to Manager is 3years ?

Just got to hear that a promotion requirement is a minimum 3 years. I was of the opinion that it's 2years. I just completed 2 years. And was hoping to take the discussion ahead. But if it's 3 years then I will have to rethink my stay here.
