Is the AWS certificate still worth it?

Considering my current salary of approximately 7 lpa as a software engineer working with the MERN stack in a service-based company, will obtaining an AWS Developer Associate certification significantly boost my chances of securing a higher-paying position and enable me to transition to a product-based company? I am planning to give the AWS developer associate exam.

I always say No to getting a job through certifications but in your case, Yes. Because you have the developer background to back up your certification. You will still need to get more hands on with AWS before you are considered good but by doing the certification, you will be putting yourself one step closer to a better paying job. Some companies have these dumb cut off criterias where if you don't have the cert, you are ineligible for the role regardless of your talent.

It will not be the certificate but the learning that'll help you. Not a bad choice in my opinion
