Is tcs retaining? Will there be any changes post counter offers is accepted from tcs. I know tcs can have multiple reasons to reduce salary

Not by TCS but project stopped giving me good band and promotion with the explanation that “we need to keep everyone happy”. Post retention you will be having more salary than most of your peers (may be even managers) which increases friction. My seniors brush off any work/questions for help coming towards them saying “now you can handle it as good as I can”. The general work environment around me has become challenging. All this could be project specific. Even if not, it is something you can deal with issues with colleagues but absence of promotion and good band will make you start thinking of leaving again.
