Is Target a good company to join?

I have heard from multiple sources that their work culture is getting shitier everyday due to performance pressure from onshore US and also they have to face alot of competition thats why, a newly joined employee who is my friend btw told me there no one even to help to get your accesses and Start with your project give KT and all they directly throw you under the hus and if you do not perform it gets escalate as quote unquote the manager of my friend is using words like outcome will be worst when they just put one escalation, and I said you just joined 4 dats ago what you did, he said i was just not available according to the manager😂

what are your thoughts on this are mostly US companies focussing on product becoming like this and supporting toxic work environment I heard google also has some legal issues with big coders like striver and all like US companies are not the ones where you can find work life balance.
