Is switching domains easy for freshers (0-2)yoe?

I'm a recent graduate with an opportunity for a cybersec role. Although I wish to go for a frontend web/app development role with current job market it's taking forever to land an offer for entry level roles irrespective of the domain one wishes. Company applications on career pages once in a while(maybe month) result in scheduled tests or interviews. Should I rather take the job instead of continuing with search and switch later? P.S. There's a whole new pressure of gap in resume/any unemployment period in this market Either freshers are hired as interns for 6 months and let go or hired full time with bonds with less pay
