
Is sabbatical for upgrading skill possible in TCS?
Hi All, is anyone aware about sabbatical policy for leave of around 6 months to 1 year for attending any relevant course (for example course in Data science) ? Is there any place in ultimatix where we can check this ? Whom should we approach for this if we are in RMG? Is it mandatory to take TCS pre-specified course (if incase TCS talent development team has shared or have such list) to go on sabbatical or we can choose any online/offline course?
I know, lot of questions but any information will be helpful

Two of my colleagues got US masters opportunity, so they talked to HR and put sabbatical for 2 years. It is possible and T&C. You need to produce all relevant documents for approval.

In TCS, sabbatical for skill upgrade isn't a common practice. However, TCS encourages continuous learning and provides various platforms for the same.
