Is Rupay credit card worth it?
Rupay CC allows you to scan QR and pay from card instead of bank account.
Well, I use one with gpay and get to pay some merchants with cc instead of cash from bank. You cannot use it with all merchants, but all registered as merchants will accept it. Otherwise payment fails.
Yeah I was wondering that. Many merchants / auto drivers may be having a regular savings account and not tagged as a merchant account - in that case the card won’t work will it? How easy is it to retry if the card fails?
Yeah. Won't work with many autos. Although I am surprised with the number of merchants it has worked with. So it's worth trying every time. If it fails, you just scan the QR code and use your bank account to pay. I mean, you get an option to choose in gpay.
