Absolutely it is, solar is super viable in India because of our geographic placement. Lot's of places get plenty sunlight, tech costs have gone down a lot in a decade - solar is the future!
In AP, the honest tax payer is paying 3x the original bill.( check the news) As the Govt is recouping money from other sources.
In karnataka, it starts with garbage collection tax in electricity, soon there will be more taxes to inflate the amount.
So if you are a honest tax payer, you are at loss.
