Trending @Infosys; Is putting down paper without having an offer in hand a risk?

I have 8 years of experience and I am being paid 7.08 lpa. My current project is not aligned to my skill set. I feel like I am not fit for this role. I don't feel like staying here as I have no professional growth or financial growth. Is putting down paper and looking for a data engineering job a risk at this point of time? I am a mother of a 9 month old baby girl, so I have personal challenges as well, hence need flexibility

Obviously, if you don't have offer in hand already...or if you have runway of 6-12 month then you can take that risk...but to know more, 1st - all these years of experience is with Infosys only??2nd - What is JL and unit in Infosys

I would suggest, join a course which gives placement assistance, there are plenty. They'll take all the burden of grooming and referrals. And once u have an offer letter. You can resign.
