Is possible to switch technology for exp employee after joining in Deloitte?

As experienced emp..After joining to Deloitte, Is it possible if a candidate wants to ask hr for other tech stack(if candidate is capable of doing) project irrespective of what technology they hired. Or do we need to take whatever they assign to the project for they hired?
