Trending @Cognizant; is PDP to Project possible for PA ??
I’m on PDP for last 2 months, applied around 100 opportunities but no response. Either SO cancelled or rejected without any reason, no help from home manager. Is it possible to get project as a PA role ?? 🙄🙄
Why not? PATs are getting projects. In fact I myself was allocated to a project where I had to start for Europe onsite when I became PA
Is there any demand for PA in your project
In my project, the offshore location is Kolkata, and it is mandatory to work from office for 5 days, unless you’re in onsite. As far as i know, they have ramped down the offshore AIA team, and they are not planning to continue the offshore, so all the employees are being sent to Europe. And further hiring is closed.

Same i am also on bench from last 3 month and i get rating 5/5 previously i am working as a billable in my project but when their work has almost completed then they released all, if any one having python developer opening plz let me know
Imho you guy's should use this time to prepare and get out... Cognizant tries for placement but client now a days just want experienced folks which is hard fact. So eat that frog prepare and find something internally or externally... Keep moving or some day or other hr will come knocking... It's neither your fault or hr's market is in such a state now... So stop being in denial and move on for your own good
Don't apply blindly to every project or you'll get noticed by TMP and HR and they'll ask you to resign. Only apply for those jobs which match your skills or wait let TMP people will apply on your behalf. Instead work on upskilling and when HR calls you you can say I am pursuing this course, and will start applying post completion. I know people who stayed in bench for more than 9 months with this trick. And in the meantime they did certifications too.
9 months as Associate+?
It's very hard, to get a project in CTS for PA and A level, they don't have projects now. After 50+ days of aging in TMP, HR will call to resign after 58 days of aging and we have no option other than accept self resignation.
Is it still the same or getting better now?
In that case, company ke paas bhi toh projects hone chahiye na!
Yes , in the testing domain you can easily get a project and also if you want to change the domain then you can go for CIS domain.
