is online master's degree worth it?

hey all, i'm trying to find masters program specialization in data science/ai/cs field either through coursera or iit madras/similar institutes for master's degree online. my confusion is picking which online degree would be worth it and do online degrees will have same weightage in any company? and if any of you have already done it you can also recommend best ones. thanks.
