Is Nitin Gadkari doing the right thing?
I bought a moped that is E20 compliant in 2024, and now he is saying that ethanol blending shall be increased to 27% by 2027 (E27).
Certainly, if my moped would have been okay with E27 fuel, the brand would have said that it is upto E30 compliant, and not just E20.
Are we supposed to keep buying a new moped every 2-3 years? And, who is gonna buy the older ones?
Strange part is no reporter is asking these valid questions. What if insurance coverage becomes void because of non-compliant petrol in my moped? There is no option to choose from at petrol pump.
Gadkari will wash his hands off this mess, he will simply blame the Insurers, the common man can keep running from pillar to post.
Biggest scam ever… set up an ethanol factory and now we’re the ones paying the price. If E20 is compulsory, why isn’t fuel cheaper?
