Is my career over?!

I have a 2.5 year gap and got a job at a startup. They don't really care about gaps from what I've experienced. Recruiters and HR can go fuck themselfs, start messing hiring managers and founders, you'll get through

I've had a 1.5 year gap, then worked 8 months, now my company has exhausted funds, again my break started this month

But you're in faang, that should build some credibility no ?

If you are a woman with 5 yoe, HSBC is doing some return to office internship which will convert into fte. Not sure how relevant it is for you, just wanted to post in case if it's helpful

i also have 2 years of career gap. i wasn't getting even a single call.. i had created over 20 resumes.. no luck..

But infosys gave me a chance. HR called directly from Naukri.

So never give up.. apply in infosys, this company hires everyone

How does 2 years career gap..you were searching for job since then or were preparing for upsc?

Show them that you started your own startup. Domain is expired and could not get the much traction.

Same here. I also have a 2 year gap now which is difficult getting into a job now

Try through referrals. Most of the jobs are filled already through referrals only. Getting directly is very very difficult unless you are looking at heavy salary cut.

I worked with two startups after my lay off at 1/6th of my salary. But atleast it’s paying the bills.
