Is MLT registration mandatory ?

Hi Folks,

I’m C3A with 12+ years of experience and in TCS since 2 years. After receiving 1% appraisal after 2 years, I’m not in mood of doing anything extra and asked for release. But since 10 days, I’m continuously getting mails , call and clients team chats to register it. Do I really need to register? What will happen if I don’t do.

They are saying as I’m falling under 10-20 years of experience and not completed E2 so need to register and complete MLT.

Please confirm if you folks did or not yet.
