Is Michael Page a scam?

Michael Page, a recruiting agency, has a lot of open job postings always. But I have never got a reply back with details of the roles even for roles that I know I am well qualified for.

This is after I apply through their portal and email the hiring manager.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or what could be going wrong?

They are building their database. It is the ideal time for any staffing company to do so.

Not a scam, certainly.

Years ago when I used to apply via their website, I always received a response.

Yeah, the rejection email. 😂

And these guys have a revenue in excess of 1 bn Pounds! Yes, Pounds.

Not a scam, it’s an international company. But I guess they work like a factory without a personal connection so difficult to operate in Indian market

The company is international and kind of consultancy work in India - sourcing candidates so that makes it faster for the company to onboard candidates

The recruiter inside Michael Page has not closed your candidature for whatever reasons - recruiting agencies operate basis the client needs. As long as they are closing roles for their clients, no one is concerned about the open candidates. It is more of a internal compliance issue than anything.

I have applied to many roles in their site. Didn't get any call.
Infact, just to check them I once sent a fake resume that was a close match to the role they were looking for. Still didn't get any call.they are fake.

Same situation. I think they are building a database.

It’s a big company. If they are trying to hire someone for a big role, they spend a lot of time and money. A manager will fly to the location of the candidate if required.
